PUB HLTH 91: Disparities in Health Care invites you to explore the realities of our health system through the eyes of people who live and work in medically underserved communities.
In this 2-unit seminar (Pass/No Pass), you’ll:
Hear from inspiring guest speakers — frontline clinicians, public health leaders, policy experts, and students in the health professions — tackling real-world challenges like reproductive justice, the digital divide in telehealth, cultural humility in the exam room, and the business case for reducing disparities.
Gain insight into the daily work of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants and more.
Build your own toolkit for becoming a future clinician leader who promotes equity and justice in health care.
Whether you’re aiming for a career in medicine, nursing, physician assistant, pharmacy, public health, mental health, or any allied health field, this course will give you a deeper understanding of how people can create meaningful change.
